NovaTaste in Parma, Italy, seeks an experienced professional for R&D/ops to support pilot plant activities and stabilise new formulations. You will evaluate materials, plan trials, and collaborate across Quality, Production, and Purchasing to drive product development.

The role requires a Diploma in Food Science and Technology and 3–5 years in the food sector, with fluency in Italian and English. This on-site position offers an innovative work environment in a global company.

Competenze

• Diploma in Food Science and Technology or similar.
• 3-5 years of experience in a food company (R&D or OPS).
• Fluent in Italian and in English, both written and spoken.

Mansioni

• Pilot plant maintenance and implementation of new equipment.
• Planning and realization of application trials at pilot plant, supporting projects and customers’ needs.
• Raw materials evaluation/harmonization.
• Active participation in training/workshop.
• Support to production for optimization and implementation of new formulas.
• Close collaboration with Quality/Production/Local Purchasing/CS.
• Controlling R&D Budget by tracking and categorizing expenses related to product development trials, training initiatives, technical seminars.

Tasks

Skills

• Diploma in Food Science and Technology or similar
• 3-5 years of experience in a food company (R&D or OPS). Experience in the meat industry is an advantage
• Fluent in Italian and in English, both written and spoken
