Job summary

Hitachi Energy Italy S.p.A. is seeking an experienced R&D Project Manager to drive the development of next-generation high-voltage equipment from concept to market.

You will coordinate international, cross-functional teams across R&D, engineering, testing and manufacturing to ensure cost, quality and time-to-market excellence. The role requires a Master’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering, 3+ years in technical project management, and fluency in English and Italian.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
• 3+ years of technical project management experience in electromechanical or high-voltage equipment.
• Familiar with structured product development processes and tools (CAD, FEM, PLM, ERP).
• Fluent in English and Italian; PMP certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead full lifecycle of new product development from concept to market.
• Coordinate international, cross-functional teams across R&D, engineering, testing and manufacturing.
• Apply development methodologies, manage risks, ensure standards and compliance.
• Oversee design validation and type testing activities for high-voltage insulation systems.
• Communicate updates to stakeholders and ensure alignment and support.
• Capture lessons learned and ensure knowledge transfer to operations and future projects.
