Axyon AI is seeking a motivated Quantitative Researcher Intern in Modena, Italy. You will join the Quant Research team and work on a focused project investigating how predictive signals can be combined into systematic investment strategies under close guidance from experienced colleagues.

The internship is open to curricular or extracurricular placements, with January–February 2027 start. You will develop reproducible Python notebooks, present findings, and gain hands-on ML experience in

Formación

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline (finance, economics, STEM).
• Solid academic foundation in quantitative subjects and Python for data analysis.
• English proficiency at B2 level or above; strong written and verbal communication.
• No previous professional experience required in quantitative research.

Responsabilidades

• Review relevant academic literature and internal research on signal evaluation and systematic strategy design.
• Prepare, clean, and explore financial datasets with support from the team.
• Implement and compare approaches for combining predictive signals using baseline and ML methods where appropriate.
• Evaluate signal quality and robustness with sound statistical methods and out-of-sample analysis.
