ABB ricerca un Quality Manager per supportare la strategia qualità inUnità organizzativa locale coinvolta nella realizzazione di progetti nucleari. Partirai dall’implementazione della QMS, collaborando con ingegneria, gestione progetti e produzione per assicurare conformità agli standard industriali e alle normative nucleari.

La posizione richiede laurea in ingegneria, minimo 2 anni di esperienza, conoscenza di sistemi di gestione della qualità e auditing, nonché abilità comunicative in italiano

Competenze

• Laurea in ingegneria (preferibile Nuclear, Automation, Mechanical) o campo tecnico correlato.
• Almeno 2 anni di esperienza nel settore qualità/gestione qualità in ambienti regolamentati.
• Conoscenza di Quality Management Systems, metodologie di auditing e principi di miglioramento continuo.
• Capacità di operare in ambienti altamente regolamentati (nucleare/energia/processi industriali).
• Buona capacità di analisi, attenzione ai dettagli e gestione di priorità multiple.

Mansioni

• Supportare l'implementazione e il miglioramento continuo del Quality Management System nei progetti nucleari.
• Collaborare con ingegneria, project management e team operativi per garantire conformità ai requisiti di qualità e normative.
• Eseguire attività di qualificazione, audit interni e monitoraggio dell’aderenza ai processi.
• Analizzare dati di qualità e indicatori di progetto per individuare tendenze e azioni correttive.
• Supportare revisioni qualitative con il cliente, ispezioni e attività di qualificazione lungo tutto il ciclo di vita del progetto.
• Preparare e fornire training relativi alla qualità e promuovere una cultura di qualità e miglioramento continuo.
• Linee guida su azioni preventive/correttive e follow-up all’interno dei team di progetto.

Your Role And Responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the deployment of the quality strategy for a local organizational unit involved in the delivery of nuclear projects, including quality culture, systems, tools, and competent teams, with the aim of achieving and exceeding customer expectations while ensuring compliance with nuclear regulations and sustainable operations. Each day, you will assist the organization in achieving the right mix of prevention, continuous improvement, robust root cause analysis, quick response, and sustainable solutions to quality challenges arising throughout the project lifecycle. You will also showcase your expertise by collaborating with engineering, project management, manufacturing, and other local functions that impact quality performance, ensuring adherence to the highest industry standards and supporting the successful execution of complex nuclear projects, while striving for world-class performance.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the implementation and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System and applicable related Management System within nuclear projects.
• Collaborating with engineering, project management, and operational teams in ensuring compliance with quality requirements and industry regulations.
• Performing qualification tasks, internal audits and monitoring process adherence to identify risks, non-conformities, and improvement opportunities.
• Analyzing quality data and project performance indicators for identifying trends, root causes, and corrective actions.
• Supporting customer quality reviews, inspections, and qualification activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Preparing and delivering quality-related training sessions while promoting a culture of quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
• Driving preventive and corrective action plans and ensuring effective follow-up within multidisciplinary project teams

Qualifications For The Role

• You have a bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, preferably in Nuclear Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
• You have at least 2 years of experience.
• You have knowledge of Quality Management Systems, auditing methodologies, and continuous improvement principles.
• You are familiar with working in highly regulated environments, ideally within the nuclear, energy, industrial automation, or process industries.
• You are analytical, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a structured manner.
• You are at ease communicating in both Italian and English.
• You are a proactive team player with strong interpersonal skills and a continuous improvement mindset.

Compensation Package

As part of our commitment to transparency, we want to share the compensation details for this position: Applicable CBA: Metalmeccanico. Minimum annual salary: € 39.000. Variable Pay: Eligible for Company Productivity Bonus. The offer will be tailored based on your role location, experience, skills and qualifications, internal market positioning and alignment with ABB internal standards.
