EssilorLuxottica in Città Sant'Angelo is seeking a Quality Project Engineer to enhance production quality through data analysis and defect reduction. The role is hands-on, situated near the production area, requiring a strong quality background and a passion for continuous improvement.

You will monitor KPIs, drive corrective actions, support stabilization of processes with Production and Quality teams, and contribute to cross-functional projects and audits within the production area.

• Degree in Engineering or equivalent technical background.
• Experience in quality, quality engineering or production quality.
• Knowledge of quality KPIs, root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Analytical and structured approach with data-driven improvement actions.

Main Responsibilities

• Monitor quality KPIs, scrap trends and recurring defects to identify root causes and improvement opportunities.
• Define and follow up corrective and preventive actions to improve product conformity and process reliability.
• Support the stabilization and improvement of production processes, working closely with Production and Quality teams.
• Manage quality deviations and critical issues, contributing to risk assessments and recovery plans when needed.
• Promote continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing defects, optimizing processes and improving quality results.
• Contribute to cross‑functional projects, audits and the implementation of quality standards within the production area.

Main Requirements

• Degree in Engineering or equivalent technical background.
• Previous experience in quality, quality engineering or production quality within an industrial/manufacturing environment.
• Good knowledge of quality KPIs, root cause analysis, process improvement and corrective actions.
• Analytical and structured approach, with the ability to turn data and problems into practical improvement actions.
• Proactive mindset, curiosity and willingness to work closely with production teams in a dynamic environment.

Salary Package

• Annual Gross Salary: 50.000 Eur –63.000 Eur
• Performance Bonus: An additional Management by Objectives (MBO) bonus as percentage of the annual gross salary.
