STIGA, a leading European lawnmower and garden equipment manufacturer, seeks a Quality Process Engineer for a six-month internship at our HQ in Castelfranco Veneto, Italy. You will support internal audits, maintain ISO 9001:2015 documentation, manage customer claims, and promote continuous improvement.

The role requires an engineering degree, knowledge of quality tools, and fluency in Italian; compensation is €700 per month with access to the company canteen.

Competenze

• University degree in Industrial/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Master's or related qualification in Quality Management (auditor, Six Sigma belt) is appreciated.
• University degree with specialization in Quality is highly appreciated.
• Previous internship in Quality Management is appreciated.

Mansioni

• Plan and support execution of internal audits and issue audit reports.
• Ensure quality documentation (procedures, work instructions, forms) is up-to-date and accessible.
• Monitor ISO 9001 changes and update QMS accordingly.
• Draft and verify quality procedures with process owners.
• Analyze quality data to detect root causes and opportunities for improvement.
• Support third-party and customer audits.
• Collaborate with all departments to meet quality requirements.
• Support QA team in improving process effectiveness and efficiency.
• Help define priorities for quality improvement initiatives.

Formazione

University degree (Mechanical Engineering / Industrial Engineering)

ACCOUNTABILITY & OBJECTIVES

• Perform Quality Internal Audit;
• Develop and maintain the Quality Management System in compliance with ISO 9001:2015;
• Management of customer claims;
• Promote ContinuousImprovement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan and support the execution of internal audits, issue audit reports, identify improvement opportunities, and monitor the implementation and effectiveness of corrective actions;
• Ensure that quality documentation (procedures, work instructions, forms) is up-to-date and accessible via the intranet;
• Monitor changes inISO standards and customer-specific requirements; update the QMS accordingly to ensure ongoing compliance;
• Draft, revise, andverify quality procedures and work instructions in collaboration with process owners;
• Analyse quality data andtrends to detect root causes and identify areas for improvement;
• Support and participate in third-party audits and customer audits;
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with all departments to ensure quality requirements are understood and met;
• Support the Quality Teamin enhancing process effectiveness and efficiency;
• Collaborate with the Quality Manager to define priorities and focus areas for quality improvement initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS

• University degree (e.G.: Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering);
• A Master and/or any other further qualification related to Quality Management is appreciated (e.G.: qualified auditor, Six Sigma black or green belt…);
• University degree with specialization on Quality is highly appreciated;
• A previous internship experience in Quality Management is appreciated.

KNOWLEDGE

• A good knowledge of Quality Management is needed;
• A good knowledgeof Quality Systems is required (ISO 9001);
• Knowledge of most important quality tools is appreciated (Statistical Process Control, FMEA, PPAP, Capability study, Control Plan);
• Knowledge of most diffused IT tools is needed.

LANGUAGES

• Fluency in Italian;
• A good knowledge of English is highly recommended.
