King & George is seeking a Quality Manager at NAS Sigonella, Italy, to lead the QMS program across the contract. You will supervise Quality Control Managers and inspectors, develop control plans, and ensure compliance with ISO and government requirements.

The role emphasizes independent oversight, data analysis, and training to raise quality performance. This position requires CMQ/OE certification, at least five years of relevant experience, and the ability to pass background investigations.

Competenze

• Minimum five years of experience developing and enforcing QMS programs of similar size, scope, and complexity.
• CMQ/OE certification (Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence).
• Cannot be the PM or SSHO.

Scope

Responsible for planning, implementing, and enforcing the Quality Management System (QMS). Independent from operations.

Duties

• Develops and maintains the Quality Control Plan (QCP).
• Ensures quality procedures are applied across all functional areas.
• Supervises Quality Control Managers/inspectors.
• Conducts trend analysis of inspection data, reporting deficiencies and recommending improvements.
• Serves as primary point of contact for Government QAEs.
• Ensures documentation of inspections, tests, and corrective actions are complete and accurate.
• Leads quality awareness training for all contract staff.
• Provides monthly and quarterly quality performance reports.

Mandatory Experience & Certifications

• ASQ CMQ/OE (Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence).
• Minimum five years of experience developing and enforcing QMS programs of similar size, scope, and complexity.
• Cannot be the PM or SSHO.

Preferred / Desirable Certifications

• ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor certification.
• Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt.

Special Qualifications/Requirements

Must be able to successfully pass, as required, a federal, state, or local government's background investigation.
