Job summary

Saipem is seeking a Quality Control Manager to lead a multidisciplinary QC team on large EPC or Construction projects. The role includes implementing the Project Quality Plan, coordinating inspections and tests, and ensuring thorough quality documentation across construction and pre-commissioning stages.

The candidate should have 8–10 years of QC leadership experience and a degree in Engineering or a technical diploma, with opportunities for international travel based on projects.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or Technical Diploma.
• 8–10 years of experience as a Quality Control Manager within large EPC or Construction projects.
• Willingness to travel abroad for project assignments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the multidisciplinary QC team, ensuring effective coordination of all inspection activities.
• Implement and enforce the Project Quality Plan, QC procedures, and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
• Coordinate inspections, testing, and surveillance activities throughout Construction and Pre-commissioning phases.
• Manage quality records, including RFIs, inspection reports, test records, and quality dossiers.
• Monitor NCRs and corrective actions, ensuring timely resolution and closure of non-conformities.
• Verify material compliance, traceability, and adherence to project quality requirements.
• Interface with Construction, Engineering, Procurement, Commissioning, Clients, and Subcontractors to ensure quality alignment.
• Ensure completion of quality documentation for Mechanical Completion, handover, audits, and final project dossiers while driving proactive quality improvement and rework prevention.
