We’re looking for a QA Team Lead to set high standards for quality assurance, guide a remote QA team, and implement robust automated testing strategies across our platform. If you're passionate about product stability, automation, and strong leadership, this is the role for you.
What You’ll Do
Leadership & Mentorship
- Lead and support a distributed QA team across time zones.
- Define and uphold quality benchmarks across all product layers.
- Promote a culture of technical excellence, accountability, and proactive problem-solving.
- Set team objectives, provide coaching, and align QA efforts with company goals.
Test Strategy & Execution
- Design and drive QA strategies that balance manual and automated testing.
- Define testing scope, coverage, and release readiness for both new and existing features.
- Ensure test cases are complete, reusable, and aligned with product expectations.
Automation & Tooling
- Develop and maintain automation frameworks that scale.
- Implement API Testing & Automation using NestJS and Apidog.
- Lead end-to-end (E2E) testing with Playwright, integrating frontend (Nuxt.js) and backend (NestJS) workflows.
- Oversee component-level & UI testing for Nuxt.js applications.
- Ensure Cross-Browser & Device Testing coverage using BrowserStack.
- Manage Database Validation & Test Data Management with MongoDB.
- Embed test automation in our CI/CD pipelines, ensuring fast, clean deployments.
Bug Reporting & Quality Metrics
- Define effective processes for bug reporting, triage, and resolution.
- Ensure all bugs are well-documented, reproducible, and prioritized correctly.
- Maintain dashboards with real-time QA metrics and communicate trends to leadership.
Collaboration & Process Improvement
- Work closely with Product, Design, and Engineering to clarify requirements and release criteria.
- Participate actively in sprint ceremonies, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.
- Continuously evaluate and evolve QA tools, workflows, and automation practices.
Who We’re Looking For
- QA professionals with prior leadership or senior-level experience.
- Deep understanding of manual and automated QA methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Playwright
- Apidog
- BrowserStack
- MongoDB
- Nuxt.js / NestJS
- CI/CD pipelines
- Strong analytical mindset with a passion for clean code and scalability.
- Excellent communicator in cross-functional, async teams.
- Committed, quality-driven, and aligned with fast-paced startup culture.
Work Schedule
- Time Zone: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Italy time)

Compensation
- Hourly Rate: $12.00 – $26.00/hour
- Engagement: 40+ hrs/week
