Job summary

Turner & Townsend in Milan is seeking an experienced QA/QC Manager to oversee quality assurance and control on large-scale Data Centre construction projects. You will ensure adherence to project standards, safety requirements, and regulatory expectations on site.

Responsibilities include implementing QA/QC plans, conducting regular inspections, reviewing drawings, and coordinating with contractors to maintain quality and progress.

Qualifications

• Degree in construction management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• Experience implementing QA/QC programs and supporting construction site operations.
• Knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, and submittal processes.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor QA/QC plans across construction projects to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards
• Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and reviews to verify quality, safety, and environmental compliance
• Review construction drawings and submittals for accuracy, completeness, and constructability
• Support RFI and submittal processes and ensure proper documentation and tracking
• Identify, document, and help resolve quality issues, non-conformances, and risks
• Maintain detailed project documentation including inspection reports, meeting minutes, and compliance records
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and project teams to ensure adherence to QA/QC processes
• Support project reporting (daily, weekly, monthly) related to quality metrics and construction progress
• Assist in managing project risks related to quality, safety, and compliance
• Participate in project meetings and communicate QA/QC updates with stakeholders
• Review as-built documentation and assist in project closeout activities
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards throughout the project lifecycle

In this role you will support and oversee quality assurance and quality control activities on large scale construction projects. This role is responsible for ensuring projects meet established quality standards, safety requirements, and regulatory expectations while supporting overall project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Degree in construction management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• 3–7+ years of experience in construction QA/QC or project coordination (or equivalent experience in lieu of degree).
• Experience implementing QA/QC programs and supporting construction site operations.
• Familiarity with construction drawings, specifications, and submittal processes.
• Knowledge of construction safety practices.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Italian speaking, good command of written and spoken English
• Availability for on-site work
