Graduate position - MEP Junior Cost Manager

As part of a project team, you will gain hands‑on experience in cost planning, cost management, and cost control for exciting building construction projects from theindustrial sectors (e.g. Data Centres, Pharma, Manufacturing).

In this role you will work on cost management and commercial control of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) packages on a major Data Center project in Milan. The role offers exposure to all project phases, from design through construction and handover.

Responsibilities

• Assist with cost planning, budgeting, and financial reporting for MEP works.
• Review and analyze contractor and supplier quotations.
• Monitor project costs, forecasts, variations, and change orders.
• Support procurement and tendering activities.
• Prepare regular cost reports and track project KPIs.
• Take on increasing responsibility for your own project workstreams, helping to ensure effective cost management and financial control for our clients throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with design, construction, procurement, and client teams.

• Recent graduate from an engineering, construction economics, Quantity Surveying or construction‑related degree.
• Strong interest in project financial management, related tools, and the construction sector as a whole.
• Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbingknowledge.
• First practical experience in building construction projects.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project, and you are comfortable working with these tools on a daily basis.
• Enjoy tackling complex challenges and working in an international environment.
• Fluentin Italian and English;strong written communication skills, able to produce reports in both languages.
• Good command of Microsoft Office tools.
