Leaf Space is seeking a QA Engineer (Ground Segment) to monitor system health, investigate anomalies, validate software before release, and develop automated end-to-end tests. You will start with a structured process and progressively take on more ownership, growing into a key technical contributor.

The role requires a Master’s degree (or soon) in Telecommunications or related fields, with strong Python skills and Linux experience.

Competenze

• Master’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Signal Processing, or related fields.
• Up to two years of experience, or a recent Master’s graduate.
• Strong Python skills, including automated testing with pytest.
• Experience with Linux/Unix and scripting.

Mansioni

• Monitor system health and logs to identify anomalies in ground segment operations.
• Validate software before release and develop automated end-to-end tests.
• Define test environments and coordinate setup with relevant teams.
• Maintain and expand the test suite to improve coverage over time.
• Contribute to runbooks and documentation for long-term operational knowledge.
