Generali Italia is seeking an IT Developer within the Front Office to refactor and improve the code of a quantitative investment strategy for tactical asset allocation and equity sector allocation. The role focuses on reorganizing the codebase for testability, automating slide generation from market data, and automating data storage and backups.

It also includes conducting testing campaigns across multi-asset portfolios.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or related field
• Proficiency in Python with back-end development experience
• Proven experience on mid/large projects using Git workflow
• Genuine passion for scientific coding and an interest in quantitative finance
• Previous hands-on experience with financial topics is a plus

Responsabilidades

• Refactor and improve the code of a quantitative investment strategy
• Make the code more versatile, faster and intuitive
• Reorganize code to ensure monthly outputs and annual reviews are testable
• Automate generation of output slides using updated market data
• Automate storage and backup of data and historical results
