Standard BioTools is expanding its field service team to support customers across Italy, Switzerland, and South France. The Field Service Engineer will install, maintain, and repair Proteomic systems at customer sites, troubleshoot hardware and software, and contribute to service procedures while identifying improvements.

Strong English and Italian skills are required. The role reports to the Senior Manager, EMEA Field Service, with significant travel and cross-functional collaboration across

Competenze

• BS in Science or Engineering or equivalent industry experience in service of analytical instruments
• Technical support/service experience required
• Substantial working knowledge of optical, electrical and mechanical sub-systems
• Expertise in root cause analysis and corrective action methodologies
• Experience with Life Science instrumentation; Mass Spectrometers or related tech desirable
• Salesforce.com / ServiceMax familiarity a plus
• Fluency in English; proficiency in Italian and other European languages desirable

Mansioni

• Perform installation, maintenance, and repair services on Proteomic systems at customer sites
• Troubleshoot instrument hardware and software, often under challenging conditions
• Contribute to high-value service procedures and documents
• Identify areas for product and process improvement and communicate these accordingly
• Adopt and leverage CRM policies, procedures, and reporting
• 60% travel routinely required
