Datalogic is seeking a Project Buyer to join the Purchasing area, based in Monte San Pietro (BO). You will lead R&D sourcing during new product development and coordinate prototyping of tools and samples, while ensuring on-time project checkpoints and supplier engagement.

The role requires 2–3 years in similar roles, a technical degree, and fluency in Italian and English. Familiarity with SAP and strong Excel skills are valued. Salary and benefits will reflect experience.

Competenze

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in mechanical, electronics or economics.
Languages: Fluent Italian and English; written and verbal communication.
Experience: 2–3 years in similar roles.

Mansioni

Lead R&D sourcing activities during new product development.
Support supplier quality, cost and delivery targets and execute sourcing actions for each project.
Apply commodity sourcing strategy for project components.
Make or buy analysis; manage prototyping of tools and samples (Alpha, Beta, Pilot).
Ensure all project checkpoints close on time.
Supplier tooling management for NPD projects (mould negotiations, materials possession).
Implement technical saving initiatives.
