Cellnex Italia is seeking a Project Manager to join the Customer & Network Projects PM team. You will oversee telecom infrastructure, DAS and Energy projects end-to-end, ensuring delivery on scope, time, cost, quality and customer commitments.

The role requires an experienced PM with ownership, energy and proactive decision-making to drive project outcomes. You will help transform leadership mindset and cross-functional accountability.

Competenze

• 5+ years of project management experience in telecommunications.
• Experience leading complex cross-functional projects with international scope.
• Structured PM methodologies and certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum, IPMA) preferred.
• Experience with end-to-end infrastructure rollout and governance.

Mansioni

• Lead complex customer and network projects across the full lifecycle, ensuring integrated planning, execution, monitoring and closure.
• Drive project progress proactively and coordinate technical, commercial, operational, procurement and supplier interfaces to maintain alignment on priorities and commitments.
• Anticipate risks, challenge assumptions constructively and define practical mitigation actions to protect delivery, cost, quality and customer outcomes.
• Monitor project economics, KPIs, supplier performance and PO status, providing concise, action‑oriented reporting and escalating deviations with clear recovery plans.

• Promote a culture of ownership, urgency, transparency and cross‑functional collaboration, supporting continuous improvement and stronger project leadership.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Project Manager will join the Customer & Network Projects PM team to manage telecom infrastructure, DAS and Energy projects end-to-end, ensuring delivery on scope, time, cost, quality and customer commitments. The role requires an experienced PM with strong ownership, energy and the ability to drive projects proactively, not only to report their status. The person must be able to anticipate risks, unblock decisions and challenge technical, commercial and operational stakeholders constructively when project outcomes are at risk.

The mission is also transformational: introduce a stronger project leadership mindset, improve cross-functional accountability and help the team move from standard reporting and established routines to active project steering, escalation management and continuous improvement.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead complex customer and network projects across the full lifecycle, ensuring integrated planning, execution, monitoring and closure.
• Drive project progress proactively and coordinate technical, commercial, operational, procurement and supplier interfaces to maintain alignment on priorities and commitments.
• Anticipate risks, challenge assumptions constructively and define practical mitigation actions to protect delivery, cost, quality and customer outcomes.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Education

University Degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Management Engineering, Economics or similar. A Master in Project Management or Business Administration is valuable.

Experience

• At least 5 years of experience in project management roles, preferably in telecommunications, towerco
• Previous international experience is essential
• Previous experience in leading complex projects involving multiple internal functions, external suppliers and demanding customers is essential.

Experience in the following areas will be positively valued:

• Use of structured PM methodologies and certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum, IPMA or equivalent
• End-to-end delivery of infrastructure rollout, site engineering, permitting, implementation, acceptance and handover processes
• Project governance, risk management, budget control, supplier performance management and executive reporting
• Ability to introduce process improvement, reporting simplification and digital tools without losing focus on execution and accountability.

• English: Advanced (Must-have)

• The salary range for this position is between 48K€ and 65K€
• Hybrid work model (3 days on site / 2 remote).
