Job summary

Explore Group in Milan is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager specializing in Data Warehousing and Data Quality to lead delivery workstreams within a data-driven, banking and payments environment.

You will oversee end-to-end data pipelines, drive data quality remediation and governance, and coordinate between client stakeholders, banking counterparts, and cross-functional technical teams in a hybrid/remote setup. Fluency in Italian is required.

Qualifications

• Experience as IT Project Manager in data-centric environments.
• Proven track record in Data Warehousing (Oracle-based) and Data Quality remediation/analysis.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional delivery coordination.
• Autonomy to identify bottlenecks, navigate systemic complexities, and manage project risks.
• Fluent in Italian (business level).
• Banking/Payments domain exposure is advantageous.

The role:

My client is now looking to recruit an experienced IT Project Manager specialising in Data Warehousing & Data Quality who will play a key part in leading critical delivery workstreams within a high-impact financial services and payments environment.

You will oversee end-to-end developments across transactional data pipelines, drive data quality remediation and governance, and act as the primary delivery focal point between client stakeholders, external banking counterparts, and cross-functional technical teams.

Requirements:

• Commercial experience working as an IT Project Manager within complex, data-centric environments.
• Proven track record in Data Warehousing (ideally Oracle-based) and Data Quality remediation/analysis.
• Strong stakeholder management and technical delivery coordination skills across multi-disciplinary teams.
• High level of autonomy with the ability to identify bottlenecks, navigate systemic complexities, and manage project risks.
• Fluent in Italian (business level).
• Prior exposure to the Banking, Payments, or Interbank transaction ecosystem is advantageous (nice-to-have).
