Job summary

Baker Hughes in Italy (Toscana) seeks a Project Management Senior Specialist within Climate Technology Solutions to drive complex EPC projects, ensure P&L accountability, and deliver customer satisfaction across hydrogen, CCUS, clean power and energy-transition initiatives.

You will lead cross‑functional teams, manage contractual commitments, monitor risks and ensure on‑time delivery and quality across demanding projects.

Qualifications

• Engineering Master’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Energy or equivalent.
• Experience in Project Management in Oil & Gas, Energy or Industrial sector.
• Proficiency in managing project financials (revenues, margins, cash).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Willingness to travel internationally.
• PM certification (PMP or IPMA).

Responsibilities

• Drive your team and engage all supporting functions to execute in line with contractual commitments.
• Be the go-to person for project stakeholders and navigate challenges and changes.
• Ensure project financials, on-time delivery and quality meet targets.
• Address and resolve project matters, report status, mitigate risks, and close out.
• Act as innovator on complex EPC projects, including NPD content.
• Interface with SMEs across hydrogen, CCUS, turbomachinery, compression and digital solutions.

Joining the Climate Technology Solutions (CTS) Equipment team, you will be responsible for project delivery, profit & loss accountability, and customer satisfaction through management of complex projects, innovative products, related activities and resources.

As Project Management Senior Specialist - Climate Technology Solutions, you will be responsible for:

• driving your team and engaging all supporting functions as needed to smoothly execute in compliance with the contractual commitments
• being the to-go person for project stakeholders and a guide to get opportunities out of challenges and unpredictable changes
• making sure that project financials, on-time delivery and quality excellence meet and exceed targets
• addressing and resolving any project related matters, from reporting status at all levels, to risks mitigation, to project close out.
• acting as innovator, able to work with complex EPC projects, including New Products Development (NPD) content.
• interface with subject matter experts across hydrogen technologies, CCUS processes, turbomachinery, compression, and digital solutions as applicable.

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Engineering Master’s degree (Mechanical, Chemical, Energy, or equivalent) and relevant experience in Project Management in Oil&Gas, Energy or Industrial sector
• proficiency in managing project financials, including revenues, contribution margin and cash
• strong focus on value delivery and customer satisfaction
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management capabilities
• ability to manage projects in fast‑moving, ambiguous, and evolving energy‑transition environments.
• Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) leadership throughout the project lifecycle
• thorough knowledge of T&Cs glossary and dynamics, including contractual provisions, risks, claims and remedies management
• technical background in Gas Turbines, Steam Turbines, Compressor technologies as well as in energy transition technologies such hydrogen, carbon capture, geothermal and energy storage
• availability to travel internationally to visit customers, vendors or Baker Hughes locations
• project management certification from accredited institute (e.g. PMP, IPMA)

The initial pay range for this position will be EUR 45,087 To 83.000

he provisions of Contratto Collettivo Industria Metalmeccanica e della installazione di impianti will be applied to this position. Section VI – Titolo IV of that collective bargaining agreement relates to pay.
