Leap29 is partnering with a leading renewable energy platform to expand its financing team in Italy. The Milan-based team seeks a Project Finance Associate to support the financing, refinancing and development of a growing portfolio of renewable assets.

The ideal candidate has 5–8 years of experience in project finance, with a background in solar PV and debt structuring. You will work closely with investment, finance and development functions across transactions in Italy and potentially wider

Competenze

5–8 years of experience in Project Finance or related field.
Experience with renewable energy finance or IPP is preferred.
Strong financial modelling capabilities and ability to build complex models.
Experience with solar PV or BESS financing is desirable.
Familiarity with debt sizing, refinancing and covenants.
Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Mansioni

Lead and support structuring and execution of project and portfolio financing transactions.
Develop and maintain project finance models for solar PV and BESS assets.
Perform debt sizing, cash flow analysis, refinancing assessments and investment analysis.
Review credit metrics, including leverage and DSCR, and covenant headroom.
Support financing lifecycle from structuring to financial close.
Collaborate with lenders, financial advisors and other transaction counterparties.
Assist with negotiating senior debt facilities and refinancing terms.
Prepare financial analysis for investment and financing committees.
