Alstom invites you to join as Project Engineering Manager, based in Rome, Bari, Bologna or Florence. You will manage the technical contractual scope and ensure delivery to quality, cost and schedule commitments.

The role requires management of risks, design validation with peers and Solution Director, and deployment of engineering processes and tools across the project. Proficiency in English is essential.

Your Role:

As a Project Engineering Manager you will manage the technical contractual scope of the project ensuring its delivery according to the quality, cost, performance and scheduled commitment originally agreed and, if applicable, updated as a result of negotiated variation orders.

Your Challenges:

• Manage the technical contractual scope of the project
• Manage the project technical risks and the corresponding mitigation plan
• Validate the technical design choices with the peers and Solution Director
• Deploy the applicable engineering process, methods & tools on the project
• Manage the project solution to meet Quality, Cost, Delivery and Performance (QCDP) commitments
• Be responsible of the project design and application engineering activities
• Supervise Verification & Validation activities

Qualifications:

• Engineering background including project deployment full lifecycle view
• Relevant experience in managing technical projects
• Hands-on experience on functional or hierarchical team management
• Cost and planning control experience in engineering scope
• Hands-on experience on Customer relationship in contractual situations
• Strong leadership skills
• Fluent written and spoken English

Salary Range 43.400 € - 57.800€
