ABB, located in Vittuone, Lombardy, seeks an Intern Project Buyer to join the Local Business Unit's purchasing group. You will report to the Procurement Engineering Manager and work with buyers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams in a hybrid setup.

The role focuses on supplier performance during new product introduction, benchmarking, and supporting NPI activities across ABB projects in Italy.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Management, Mechanical, Electronic or Electrotechnic Engineering.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of SAP is a significant plus.
• Fluent in Italian and English.

Mansioni

• Monitor supplier performance during development of new equipment for new product introduction.
• Manage documentation and perform benchmarking and scouting of categories (metal, electronics, plastics).
• Support project team across activities linking suppliers with NPI, monitor execution and schedules.
• Innovate by creating tools or AI agents to improve project buyer activity management.
