Job summary

Hitachi Vantara is seeking an experienced leader to guide Program Delivery (Managed Services) across Infrastructure, Cloud, and Enterprise Applications from its Rome office. The role emphasizes end-to-end service delivery, customer engagement at executive levels, and strong governance and financial oversight.

The candidate will drive transformation, automation, and operational excellence across globally distributed teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred.
• 15–20 years of progressive experience in enterprise IT, Managed Services, Infrastructure, Cloud, Digital Transformation, or Enterprise Application Delivery.
• Minimum 8 years leading global delivery organizations or large Managed Services portfolios.
• Demonstrated experience managing enterprise customers with multi-million-dollar annual contracts.
• Proven track record of leading global teams across multiple regions and time zones.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end service delivery for Managed Services across Infrastructure, Cloud, Enterprise Applications, Digital Workplace, Service Management, Security, and Platform Operations.
• Oversee program and portfolio management with a focus on governance and financial performance.
• Engage with customers and executives to ensure aligned outcomes and value delivery.
• Drive digital transformation, automation, and innovation across delivery programs.
• Manage governance, risk, and compliance and lead people development across distributed teams.
• Lead pre-sales solutioning and contribute to revenue growth and contract optimization.
• Coordinate multi-region teams to deliver multi-million-dollar portfolios.
• Ensure operational maturity and high-quality service delivery across geographies.

Program Delivery (Managed Services) to lead the delivery and transformation of large-scale Managed Services engagements across Infrastructure, Cloud, Enterprise Applications, Digital Workplace, Service Management, Security, and Platform Operations.

This leadership role is responsible for end-to-end service delivery, strategic customer engagement, operational governance, transformation roadmap execution, financial performance, and continuous service improvement. This role will lead geographically distributed delivery organizations, manage multi-million-dollar portfolios, and drive business outcomes through automation, AI-enabled operations, engineering excellence, and operational maturity.

The successful candidate will combine deep technical expertise, operational leadership, commercial acumen, and executive stakeholder management to deliver resilient, scalable, and outcome-based managed services.
