Job summary

L’Oréal in Settimo Torinese, Italy seeks a Production Engineer to optimize manufacturing processes, ensuring safety, quality and efficiency. You will connect performance, quality and safety teams, drive continuous improvement, and manage data-driven decisions on production indicators.

The role requires a degree in engineering, proven manufacturing experience, and strong Lean/Six Sigma knowledge. Italian language is essential, English helpful; French is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience as a Production Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and related methodologies.
• Proficiency in software applications and data analysis tools.
• Strong project management skills.
• Excellent knowledge of Italian; good English; French is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Performance, Quality and Safety Departments to ensure safety and quality compliance and promote a safe workplace.
• Lead continuous improvement projects within the production department.
• Analyze department indicators such as production progress, waste, quality and safety.
• Monitor production planning activities and support scheduling follow-ups.
• Work with cross-functional teams to achieve plant goals.
• Collect, analyze and document production data accurately.
