ManpowerGroup is seeking a Production Operator to join a high-output manufacturing team in Ann Arbor, MI. The role focuses on operating CNC machines and tending robotics, with responsibilities spanning from loading through quality checks.

You will support assembly, maintain diligent production records, and quickly identify defects to prevent issues from escalating. The position emphasizes reliability, hands-on learning, and a team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Some manufacturing experience preferred (CNC, robotics, assembly, or quality inspection background is a plus).
• Comfortable working with your hands and learning new equipment quickly.
• Strong attention to detail to catch small issues early.

Responsibilities

• Load, run, and monitor CNC machines and robotic tending equipment through production cycles.
• Support assembly operations on finished components.
• Perform in-process and final quality inspection using measurement tools.
• Identify and flag defects, out-of-spec parts, or equipment issues before they become bigger problems.
• Follow standard work, maintain accurate production records, and keep workstation clean, organized, and safe.

Our client, a precision manufacturing organization is seeking a Production Operator to join their team. As a Production Operator, you will be part of the Production floor supporting a high-output manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on machine operation experience, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to communicate issues quickly and clearly, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Production Operator

Location: Ann Arbor, MI (on-site)

Pay Range: $21/hour

Shift: 1st shift (5AM or 6AM start) & 2nd shift (2:15PM or 3:15PM start)

What's the Job?

• Load, run, and monitor CNC machines and robotic tending equipment through production cycles
• Support assembly operations on finished components
• Perform in-process and final quality inspection using measurement tools (calipers, gauges, scanners)
• Identify and flag defects, out-of-spec parts, or equipment issues before they become bigger problems
• Follow standard work, maintain accurate production records, and keep your workstation clean, organized, and safe

What's Needed?

• Some manufacturing experience preferred (CNC, robotics, assembly, or quality inspection background is a plus)
• Comfortable working with your hands and learning new equipment quickly
• Strong attention to detail to catch small issues early
• Reliable attendance and on-time performance for a 1st shift schedule
• Ability to stand, lift (up to 35 lbs), and move around a production floor for a full shift
