EssilorLuxottica in Rovereto, Italy, seeks a Production Manager to lead a highly automated Manufacturing Department, ensuring volumes and quality align with industrial plans.

The role drives efficiency and OEE, programs production, and fixes deviations while safeguarding product quality. Requires a Master’s in Engineering, 5–7 years of leadership experience, and knowledge of Kaizen or Six Sigma, with strong problem-solving and people skills.

Competenze

• Master’s degree in Engineering is required.
• 5–7 years of experience in a manufacturing leadership role.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools (Kaizen or Six Sigma).
• Demonstrated problem-solving attitude.
• Strong relationship and communication skills.

Your role

We are looking for an Production Manager who will have the opportunity to experience what it is like to manage a highly complex and automated Manufacturing Department, assuring volumes and excellent quality standards.

Main responsibilities:

• Management of the efficiency, quality and OEE KPIs
• Guarantee the production output of the area in order to respect the industrial plans
• Production Programming, detection of deviations and taking management actions in order to guarantee the required levels;
• Responsibility of the quality of the parts produced in his Shop.
• Knowledge and application of delegation mechanism.
• Training and Development direct team members
• Advanced knowledge of work cycles and methods
• Knowledge of specific procedures, organizational and management references in order to cope with the environmental emergences.
• Knowledge of the operative modalities for interventions regarding safety at work or with significant potential risk.
• Collaboration with Manufacturing Engineering department to develop continuous improvement projects

Main requirements:

• Master’s Degree in Engineering
• At least 5-7 years of experience
• Previous experience of responsibility is appreciated
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools (Kaizen or Six Sigma)
• Problem solving attitude
• Good relationship skills
