Alpitronic in Italy seeks an embedded software product lead to define and drive the roadmap for EV charging solutions. You will collaborate across engineering, validation, service, sales, and marketing to translate market needs into product requirements and ensure timely releases.

You will oversee the software backlog with R&D, develop technical docs and customer-facing materials, and monitor performance to drive continuous improvements in a fast-growing company.

Competenze

• Degree in Electronics, Automation, Software, Industrial or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience in a technical, customer-facing role.
• Knowledge of EV charging industry, EV charging technologies, OCPP and charging protocols.
• Familiarity with load and energy management, networking, and cybersecurity concepts.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and Jira/Confluence is a plus.
• Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
• English, German, and/or Italian language skills are a plus.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Define the embedded software roadmap aligned with company strategy, market trends, and regulatory requirements
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and customer requirements, translating insights into new product opportunities
• Translate market needs into product requirements and prioritize the software backlog together with R&D teams
• Collaborate with Engineering, Validation, Service, Sales, and Marketing throughout the software lifecycle to optimize cross-functional processes, ensure alignment, and communicate development status, timelines, and releases effectively
• Support the creation of technical documentation such as user guides and software manuals, including release notes and knowledge bases
• Develop customer-facing material, sales enablement content, and deliver product presentations and training sessions both for sales and customers, when required
• Monitor software performance and customer feedback to drive continuous product improvements

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

• Degree in Electronics, Automation, Software, Industrial or Electrical Engineering
• Previous years of professional experience in a technical and customer-facing role
• Knowledge of the EV charging industry,EV charging technologies, OCPP, and charging protocols
• Familiarity with load and energy management, networking, and cybersecurity concepts
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence is a plus
• Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills
• Excellent knowledge of English, German and/or Italian are a plus

• Total compensation starting from € 64.000 gross per year, including a 30% variable bonus based on goal achievement

The compensation indicated represents the total compensation for this role. Final compensation may vary based on the candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, and the scope of responsibilities.
