Job summary

Topcon Positioning Systems is seeking a Global Product Manager – Excavation Solutions, focused on defining the strategy and development for our next generation of excavator machine control technologies. You will collaborate with international teams and translate customer challenges into innovative solutions used on construction sites worldwide.

This remote role is based in Italy and includes up to 25% international travel.

Qualifications

• Experience in Product Management or a similar strategic role.
• Background in construction technology, machine control, excavation, surveying, heavy equipment, or civil engineering.
• Experience working with customers and distribution networks.
• Strong analytical and business planning skills.
• Knowledge of product lifecycle management and go-to-market strategies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• The ability to influence cross-functional international teams.
• Proactive, customer-focused and innovative mindset.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the product roadmap for Topcon's Excavation product portfolio.
• Engage with customers, dealers and industry partners to identify market needs and opportunities.
• Interface between Engineering, Product Development, Sales, Marketing and Operations.
• Translate customer insights into product requirements and priorities.
• Lead new product introductions and lifecycle support.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities.
• Analyze product performance and profitability.
• Support pricing and portfolio optimization.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration for global product delivery.

What You’ll Do

Competitive salary between €45,000 and €65,000 gross per year, depending on experience.
