Job summary

J.M. Huber Corporation, via Huber AgroSolutions, seeks a Product Manager to shape and manage the biostimulants and fertilizer portfolio across defined geographies.

You will drive positioning, pricing, lifecycle management, and cross-functional collaboration to turn market insights into growth initiatives. The role requires close work with Commercial, Regulatory, and Innovation teams, and frequent coordination across HAS geographies to share best practices and ensure compliance and successful

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field (Agronomy, Biology, Chemistry, Business or equivalent).
• 4+ years in product management, marketing, or related role within agriculture; biostimulants/fertilizers experience preferred.
• Strong business acumen on marketing, pricing, and financials.
• Fluent in English and Italian; excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize product positioning, portfolio strategy, and communication for the assigned geography and target applications.
• Manage products and SKUs throughout their lifecycle, including information, sampling, reviews, and launches.
• Define pricing guidelines by product line and provide recommendations on costs, margins, and target prices.
• Collaborate with Commercial and Portfolio teams on budgets, forecasts, and performance monitoring.
• Translate market and customer insights into recommendations for portfolio positioning and strategy.
• Ensure product information and value propositions are reflected in marketing and external communications.
• Share best practices with HAS geographies and align with Global Innovation and Regulatory teams.

Purpose of Job:

As a Product Manager, you will help shape and manage our product portfolio, from positioning and pricing through launch and lifecycle management. You’ll work cross-functionally with Commercial, Technical, Regulatory, Innovation, and global Product Management teams to turn market and business insights into actions that drive product performance and growth.

Main Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize product positioning, portfolio strategy, and communication for the assigned geography and target applications.
• Manage products and SKUs throughout their lifecycle, including product information, sampling, portfolio reviews, and launch activities.
• Define pricing guidelines by product line and provide recommendations on costs, margins, target prices, and exceptions.
• Partner with Commercial and Portfolio Management teams on sales budgets, margin forecasts, and performance monitoring, identifying corrective actions where needed.
• Translate market, customer, and commercial insights into recommendations for portfolio positioning and product strategy.
• Ensure product information and value propositions are effectively reflected in marketing and external communications.
• Collaborate with Product Management colleagues across HAS (Huber AgroSolutions) geographies to share best practices and market insights.
• Partner with Global Innovation and Regulatory teams to support new product development and ensure product compliance and registration.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Agronomy, Biology, Chemistry, Business Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of experience in product management, marketing, sales, or a related role within the agriculture industry; experience in biostimulants, fertilizers, or plant nutrition is preferred.
• Strong business acumen with an understanding of marketing, pricing, and financial principles.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence without direct authority.
• Fluent in English and Italian, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with business tools such as Microsoft Office, Excel, and Power BI or similar platforms.
• Proactive, customer-focused, and detail-oriented, with a strong team mindset and willingness to travel 30%+.
• Permanent Contract.
• Attractive compensation based on your qualifications and experience, with an annual gross salary of €40,000 to €46,000 and potential bonus opportunities depending on the function.
