AW LAB, part of the Bata Group, seeks a Procurement & Loss Prevention Intern in Limena, Italy. You will support stock control, inventory updates, and loss prevention activities while assisting ERP-based processes across store operations.

The role offers hands‑on experience in inventory management, data handling, and process improvements, with a chance to work in a dynamic retail environment within AW LAB's urban sport style network.

• University in progress or degree in Economics or Statistics.

DESCRIPTION OF THE ROLE:

We are looking for a PROCUREMENT & LOSS PREVENTION INTERN to join the Procurement & Loss Prevention Department to support the team in particular in the loss prevention activities.

The resource will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic context, supporting the optimisation of store operations and administrative processes. The resource will support the team in managing inventory, tracking stock through ERP systems, updating databases, participating in inventories, and contributing to process improvement initiatives.

KEY CHALLENGES:

• Support in monitoring stock and goods movements with the use of ERP software to control stock flows
• Support in conducting inventories on direct or franchise stores
• Support the opening and closing inventories via dedicated platforms and direct participation in inventories at stores
• Support in loss prevention activities by carrying out verification activities to prevent or detect fraud
• Support in process mapping and optimisation by collaborating in the revision of internal procedures, ensuring greater efficiency and standardisation

• University in progress or Degree – preferably in Economics or Statistics
• Proficient in using computer
• Strong Excel skills for data processing and file management

• Delivers in consistent way following his department priorities, respecting the deadlines
