Seqwater is seeking a Process Hazard Analysis Specialist to lead hazard assessment and risk management across its critical infrastructure in Australia. You will apply hazard evaluation techniques, interpret P&IDs and control narratives, and collaborate with operations, engineering and safety teams to embed process safety into daily practice.

This is a hands-on, full-time role with a competitive salary and benefits.

Competenze

• Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or Science in a relevant technical field.
• Experience with hazard evaluation techniques and capability interpreting P&IDs, control narratives, and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams to achieve practical outcomes.
• Chartership and registration with a professional body, e.g. Engineers Australia with eligibility for RPEQ (highly regarded).
• Operational experience in utilities or process industries with experience implementing Bowtie to existing operations (highly regarded).

Mansioni

• Support hazard analysis activities for high-risk operations and coordinate projects that support ongoing improvements.
• Monitor and analyse information to identify emerging risk trends and strengthen technical integrity.
• Provide stewardship and progress reporting on action close out from hazard analysis studies.
• Maintain and support management of critical process safety information, including performance standards and Bowtie data.
• Partner with operations, engineering, and safety teams to embed process safety into processes, systems, standards, and ways of working.
