Poltrona Frau | In Motion is seeking a Process Quality Engineer to analyze issues in manufacturing, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions. The role involves collaboration with multiple departments to achieve and audit quality certifications.

The position reports to the Quality Manager and covers QMS oversight, investigations, customer complaints handling, PFMEA/support, MSAs, data-driven improvements, and internal audits.

Competenze

• Degree in Management Engineering.
• At least 3 years of experience in a Quality environment.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.

Mansioni

• Oversee the Quality Management System within the In Motion BU.
• Lead process investigations and define corrective action plans with effective implementation.
• Manage customer product complaints, including inspection and reporting on returns.
• Assist customer and third-party auditors during assessments of the In Motion Management System.
• Support internal PCPA-1DP processes.
• Perform product audits across all active product lines (dock audits).
• Support Engineering in PFMEA, control plans, and material/ process controls.
• Conduct Measurement System Analysis (MSA) studies for new projects as required.
• Conduct statistical analyses of manufacturing processes when necessary.
• Help prepare and update In Motion procedures and related documentation.
• Promote corrective, preventive, and continuous improvement actions in process control.
• Contribute to KPI development and monitoring.
• Support internal system audits.

The Process Quality Engineer is responsible for analyzing issues and non-conformities within manufacturing processes, identifying their root causes, and implementing corrective actions. The role involves close interaction with various internal departments and collaboration in activities related to the achievement and periodic audits of quality certifications.

This position reports directly to the Poltrona Frau In Motion Quality Manager.

Main activities

:

• ensuring dedicated oversight of the Quality Management System within the In Motion Business Unit
• acting as a team leader in process investigations and in the definition of corrective action plans ensuring their implementation and effectiveness
• managing customer product complaints, including inspection and reporting activities on returned goods, and recording them in the company database
• assisting customer auditors and third-party auditors during assessments of the In Motion Management System
• supporting activities related to internal PCPA-1DP processes
• performing product audits on a sample basis across all active product lines (dock audits)
• supporting the Engineering department in the preparation and updating of PFMEAs, material control plans, and process control plans
• conducting Measurement System Analysis (MSA) studies for new projects when required
• performing statistical analyses of manufacturing processes when necessary
• providing support in the preparation and updating of In Motion Management and Technical Procedures, as well as related documentation
• promoting corrective, preventive, and continuous improvement actions related to process control activities
• contributing to the development and monitoring of performance indicators (KPIs)
• supporting and carrying out internal system audits

Education and experience

• degree in Management Engineering
• at least 3 years of experience in Quality environment
• fluent English, both written and spoken

Conditions

: The position offers a employee classification with a gross annual salary of €29-33.000 in line with CCNL Legno Arredo Industria collective agreement. The compensation range indicated in this job posting represents an estimated average range for the position. The final remuneration will be determined based on the selected candidate’s experience, skills, and qualifications, in accordance with applicable EU pay transparency and pay equity requirements.
