Poltrona Frau in Milano is seeking a Process Quality Engineer responsible for analyzing issues in manufacturing processes, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective actions. The role collaborates across departments and supports audits for quality certifications.

The position reports to the In Motion Quality Manager and involves leading investigations, overseeing the QMS, and driving continuous improvement initiatives within the In Motion unit.

Competenze

• Degree in Management Engineering.
• At least 3 years of experience in a Quality environment.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.

Mansioni

• Oversee the Quality Management System within the In Motion Business Unit.
• Lead process investigations and define corrective action plans and ensure their implementation and effectiveness.
• Manage customer product complaints, including inspection, reporting, and recording in the database.
• Assist customer and third-party auditors during assessments of the In Motion Management System.
• Support internal PFMEA, control plans, and related documentation updates.
• Conduct product audits across all active product lines (dock audits).
• Support Engineering in PFMEAs, material control plans, and process control plans updates.
• Perform Measurement System Analysis (MSA) studies for new projects as required.
• Perform statistical analyses of manufacturing processes when necessary.
• Promote corrective, preventive, and continuous improvement actions related to process control activities and KPIs.
• Support and conduct internal system audits.

The Process Quality Engineer is responsible for analyzing issues and non-conformities within manufacturing processes, identifying their root causes, and implementing corrective actions. The role involves close interaction with various internal departments and collaboration in activities related to the achievement and periodic audits of quality certifications.

This position reports directly to the Poltrona Frau In Motion Quality Manager.

Main activities

• ensuring dedicated oversight of the Quality Management System within the In Motion Business Unit
• acting as a team leader in process investigations and in the definition of corrective action plans ensuring their implementation and effectiveness
• managing customer product complaints, including inspection and reporting activities on returned goods, and recording them in the company database
• assisting customer auditors and third-party auditors during assessments of the In Motion Management System
• supporting activities related to internal PCPA-1DP processes
• performing product audits on a sample basis across all active product lines (dock audits)
• supporting the Engineering department in the preparation and updating of PFMEAs, material control plans, and process control plans
• conducting Measurement System Analysis (MSA) studies for new projects when required
• performing statistical analyses of manufacturing processes when necessary
• providing support in the preparation and updating of In Motion Management and Technical Procedures, as well as related documentation
• promoting corrective, preventive, and continuous improvement actions related to process control activitiescontributing to the development and monitoring of performance indicators (KPIs)
• supporting and carrying out internal system audits

Education And Experience

• degree in Management Engineering
• at least 3 years of experience in Quality environment
• fluent English, both written and spoken
