Sonoco in Emilia-Romagna is seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer to optimize production processes, collect KPI data and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to raise efficiency, quality and cost performance while ensuring compliance with safety standards.

You will monitor OEE and line performance, develop and trial new technologies, drive lean and Six Sigma initiatives, and implement SOPs to measure and improve process efficiencies.

Competenze

• Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
• Knowledge of SPC, Six Sigma, 5S, SMED and Lean Manufacturing.
• Languages: Good knowledge of English.
• Project management skills
• Team approach
• Advanced PC skills: Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.

Mansioni

• Monitor process performance and KPIs (e.g., OEE, line spoilage).
• Development and trials of new technologies to guarantee final production quality.
• Pursue continuous improvement through new technologies and preventive maintenance.
• Use Lean, Six Sigma and data analysis tools for data-driven decisions.
• Develop and implement SOPs to control efficiencies and measure equipment performance and spoilage.
• Collect data and analyze process efficiency to maximize throughput and reduce costs.
• Adhere to Hygiene, Food Safety, Health and Safety rules.
