LyondellBasell in Ferrara, Italy, is seeking a Process Engineer to support polypropylene plants and catalysts operations, driving process development, safety and compliance for plant changes and special projects. The role requires a Master’s in Chemical Engineering with up to five years of experience; English proficiency is essential, Italian preferred.

Collaborate across maintenance, operations and QA, with on-call availability and a clear growth path.

Competenze

• Bachelor or higher degree in chemical engineering related to process industries.
• Up to 5 years of work experience in similar process engineering roles.
• Knowledge of quality, safety and environmental management systems.
• Strong communication skills in English; Italian preferred.

Mansioni

• Provide technical support to polypropylene and catalysts plants focusing on HSE, quality, efficiency and cost.
• Develop process engineering activities for plant projects and modifications; assist commissioning and start-up.
• Collaborate with maintenance, operations and other departments on multi-discipline projects.
• Support product quality issues and contribute to new product introductions with QA and development teams.
• Define plant configurations, operating conditions and procedures to meet production targets.
• Maintain up-to-date plant knowledge and share it across teams; on-call as required.
