Shiseido, a global beauty leader, offers a 6-month paid internship in its Italy US Brands division in Milan. The trainee will explore Communication & PR within Marketing, gaining hands-on exposure to press office activities, events, and editorial planning.

The role focuses on brands like NARS, Drunk Elephant, and Dr Dennis Gross, with collaboration across HQ and local teams. Smartworking is available 2 days/week, and meals vouchers are provided.

Shiseido, a worldwide Beauty Company leader in the cosmetic industry with a great variety of prestigious brands in its portfolio, is happy to announce a new 6 months paid INTERNSHIP opportunity within the Italy US Brands division, located in Milan.

MISSION:

This internship will give the candidate the possibility to discover and make a deep dive in all aspects related to Communication & PR within the Marketing scope, in order to give the specific tools to become a young professional in this area.

MAIN TASKS:

• Giving support to PR & Communication Manager and working in sinergy with the other marketing functions, the trainee will take care of activities included in the US Brands division's communication area within the affiliate.
• Focusing on brands such NARS and Drunk Elephant and Dr Dennis Gross brands, the candidate will deal with: Press office activities (preparation and sending of releases, mailing lists and planning of information and products to be sent, contacts with on / off line publications, reports) implementation of special communication projects, animations and events dedicated to US brands aimed at promoting make up and skincare discovery and brand awareness.
• Support the event organization for the key moments of the US BRANDS Be active part in the definition of influence marketing and digital PR activities (scouting profiles, preparation of briefs and organization of mailings, follow up and related reports)
• Support the implementation of the monthly editorial plan for social profiles (adaptation of HQ content, agency planning and management for local publication)
• Support the on and offline media campaign launching (asset preparation, media material management)
• Collaborate and share information with HQ for the approval of plans related to US brand division (sharing projects, updates and preparation of activity reports)
• Regularly interact with Marketing, Trade Marketing and Digital teams as a relay for all synergic and cross departments communication activities (constant exchange and organization of materials and information, preparation of meetings and follow up)

REQUIREMENTS:

• Excellent analytical and computer skills (Microsoft Office, in particular Excel and PowerPoint)
• Entrepreneurship and xpavfwm digital mindset with desire to learn and to carry out projects with challenging goals and agility
• Proactivity, problem solving, precision, attention to detail
• Dynamic and flexible person, with good time management and stress management skills
• Positive attitude and teamworking
• Interest in the beauty and luxury world, specifically skincare
• High level of Business English
• At least another trainee experience in a FMCG company and/or in the Beauty & Luxury industry would be a plus

OPERATIONAL NOTES:

• Full time with 2 days/week of smartworking availability Milan, M1/M2 Loreto
• Paid internship + meal vouchers provided
