Job summary

METLEN is hiring an Energy Originator for the M-RESET team in Milan, Italy. The role focuses on originations and negotiations of revenue contracts for solar and BESS, building a strong client portfolio and coordinating with cross‑functional teams.

The ideal candidate holds a Finance/Business/Economics/Engineering degree, 2+ years in energy trading or PPA origination, and strong Excel skills. Italian and English are required; Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Finance, Business or Economics.
• 2+ years in energy trading, renewables or PPA origination.
• Strategic, commercial and analytical thinker.
• Proficient in Excel (formulas, pivot tables, macros) and Power BI.
• Fluent Italian and English; Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of the PPA market in active markets.
• Explore market and promote new products in Italy and Spain.
• Prepare materials for corporate PPA tenders and client dialogues.
• Assess scenarios for current and new project pipelines in Europe.
• Oversee and develop Customer Care Origination for PV and BESS clusters.
• Negotiate and conclude long-term PPA contracts and structured products.
