Abylsen in Lombardy is seeking a Power Electronics Control Engineer for a challenging role in Sesto San Giovanni. The ideal candidate has 5–6 years of experience in power electronics control, with hands-on MATLAB/Simulink proficiency and strong knowledge of OBC and battery charger systems.

The position involves developing and validating control strategies for AC/DC and DC/DC converters, optimizing performance and energy efficiency, and collaborating with hardware, power electronics and system

Competenze

• 5–6 years of experience in Power Electronics Control.
• Strong experience with MATLAB/Simulink.
• Proven experience with OBC / Battery Charger systems and AC/DC and DC/DC converters.
• Good knowledge of control theory, voltage/current control, and control algorithm development.
• Experience in simulation, calibration, testing, and validation.

We are looking for a

Power Electronics Control Engineer with 5–6 years of experience , specialized in the control of

battery charging systems (OBC / Battery Charger) and power converters .

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with

MATLAB/Simulink

for modelling, simulation, and control algorithm development.

• 5–6 years of experience in Power Electronics Control, Control Systems, or a related field.

• Good knowledge of control theory, voltage/current control, and control algorithm development .
• Experience in simulation, calibration, testing, and validation .
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of the interaction between control software, hardware, and power electronics .
• Experience in automotive, e-mobility, electrification, battery systems, or electric/hybrid powertrains is considered a strong plus.
