Net2Source in Milan, Italy, seeks a PostgreSQL-DB Administration specialist to manage and maintain enterprise databases across PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Oracle to ensure performance and reliability.

The role offers hybrid work (2-3 days onsite) and permanent employment. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in database installation, upgrades, tuning, and 24x7 production support, with a focus on SLAs and customer delight.

Competenze

• Mandatory skills: Azure Database Service, PostgreSQL-DB Administration, Windows Server.
• Manage and maintain databases across PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle for performance and reliability.
• Provide 24x7 production support for Oracle databases as a secondary responsibility.

• Perform database installation, configuration and upgrades.
• Handle database objects: tables, indexes, schemas and tablespaces.
• Monitor database health, capacity and growth trends.

• Conduct performance tuning using diagnostic tools (AWR, EXPLAIN plans).

Secondary technical skills: Secondary responsibility of this role is to provide 24x7 production support to Oracle databases
