Thrive IT Systems in Milan, Italy, seeks an Oracle Database Administrator for a permanent, hybrid role. You will manage Oracle, PostgreSQL and MySQL databases, perform installations and upgrades, and optimize performance.

We have one open position of Oracle Database Administrator with one of our client based in Milan, Italy. This is a Permanent and Hybrid position. Below is the full job description for your reference.

Job Description:

PRIMARY TECHNICAL SKILLS

• Manage and maintain databases PostgreSQL MySQL Oracle to ensure optimal performance and reliability
• Perform database installation configuration and upgrades
• Handle database objects such as tables indexes schemas and tablespaces
• Monitor database health capacity and growth trend
• Analyze and optimize queries indexes and database structures
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and slow queries
• Conduct performance tuning using diagnostic tools AWR EXPLAIN plans etc
• Improve database efficiency through continuous tuning and refinement

SECONDARY TECHNICAL SKILLS

• Secondary responsibility of this role is to provide 24x7 production support to Oracle databases
• Ideal candidate should have expert level knowledge of Oracle technology and he should be capable enough to handle complex issues independently and provide resolutions within agreed SLAs also ensure customer delight and always adhere to policies and procedures
• Candidate having creative thinking and willing to bring innovations and passionate about working on challenging initiatives will be given preference
