INFN, Milano-Bicocca invites applications for a two-year postdoctoral fellowship in the String Theory group, starting in fall 2027, within the INFN Research Network GSS, "Gauge Theories, Supergravity and String Theory". Deadline for applications is November 12, 2026, at 23:59 CET.

Eligible candidates include non-Italian citizens with a PhD from a foreign institution or Italian citizens who have spent at least three years abroad at a foreign institution at the time of application.

• PhD in physics or related field awarded on or after 12 November 2018.
• Eligibility: non-Italian citizens with PhD from foreign institution or Italian citizens abroad for at least three years.

Postdoctoral position in the String Theory group in Milano-Bicocca starting in fall 2027

We invite applications for a two-year postdoctoral fellowship at Milano-Bicocca within the INFN Research Network GSS, "Gauge Theories, Supergravity and String Theory".

Deadline: November 12, 2026, at 23:59 CET.

Applications are open to:

• Non-Italian citizens holding a PhD or equivalent qualification from a foreign institution;
• Italian citizens who, at the time of application, hold a position at a foreign institution and have been continuously abroad for at least three years.

Applicants must have obtained their PhD on or after November 12, 2018 (with possible extensions for leaves).
