The Institute for Scientific Interchange Foundation (ISI) in Turin invites applications to fill a postdoctoral fellowship early in 2015 in collective phenomena in physics and materials science.

The successful candidate will have a PhD in physics or a related field and strong background in computational methods, with expertise in statistical mechanics, fracture, dislocation dynamics, plasticity, or related areas.

Competenze

• PhD in physics or related field.
• Strong background in computational methods with expertise in statistical mechanics, fracture, dislocation dynamics, or plasticity.
• Experience in mechanics of disordered media, soft matter or biological systems is a plus.
