Human Technopole in Milan seeks a postdoctoral researcher to advance machine learning methods for quantitative analysis of neuropathology from large-scale brain tissue images and spatial transcriptomics data.

The role sits at the intersection of ML, pathology and genomics, leveraging multimodal data to uncover molecular underpinnings of neurodegenerative diseases. Collaboration across disciplines and international researchers is expected.

Competenze

  • A PhD in machine learning / computer science or a related discipline.
  • Strong programming and data handling skills (e.g. git, HPC environments, etc)
  • Fluency in English

Mansioni

  • Develop novel ML methods for quantitative analysis of neuropathology.
  • Integrate multimodal data: imaging, transcriptomics, reports and genomics.
  • Publish impactful results and contribute to the Scientific AI Flagship Research Programme.
