Splendido, A Belmond Hotel in Portofino seeks a Commis de Pastry for the 2027 season. You will assist the pastry team, craft desserts to luxury standards, and maintain kitchen cleanliness with a focus on precision and presentation.

Qualifications

• Formal pastry qualification or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a pastry kitchen, preferably luxury.
• Strong knowledge of classic and modern pastry techniques.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Chef de Partie Pastry in daily pastry operations.
• Prepare and produce a variety of desserts, cakes, pastries, and ice creams to hotel standards.
• Ensure precise measurements, techniques and consistent quality.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the pastry kitchen.
• Learn and master new techniques and recipes as required.
