Heritage is seeking a student or recent graduate for a paid internship in Milan, joining the Portfolio Management team within the Investment Lab. The six‑month program starts around October/November 2026, offering exposure to portfolio construction, investment advice, and growth initiatives within an international environment.

You will learn quickly and apply rigorous analysis to real client portfolios, with daily interaction across asset classes, senior stakeholders, and external partners.

Qualifications

• Understanding of financial markets and core asset classes (equities, fixed income, alternatives).
• Comfort with numbers: reading data, building models, drawing conclusions.
• Strong communication: translating analysis into clear output.
• Well-developed organizational skills: manage deadlines and workstreams.
• Exceptional attention to detail: high standard of accuracy.
• Genuine curiosity: engage with experts to deepen wealth management knowledge.
• English fluency is required.

Responsibilities

• Portfolio Analysis: review and analyze client portfolios across asset classes, assess allocation, identify inefficiencies, depict portfolio position relative to objectives.
• Portfolio Optimisation: develop improved allocation proposals, research funds/ETFs/private markets, model impact of changes.
• Client Materials: prepare clear presentation decks translating analysis into actionable recommendations with senior stakeholders.
