Hodge Pool Service is seeking a reliable Pool Service Technician to service residential pools in the Venice/Nokomis area. You will manage a consistent service route, work independently, and keep pools clean and balanced for customers.

We provide hands-on training, a company truck, and supplies. Typical duties include brushing walls, balancing chemistry, cleaning filters, and communicating with customers during visits.

Competenze

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Clean criminal background.
• Comfortable working outdoors for ~8 hours per day.
• Able to lift chlorine jugs and 40 lb salt bags.
• Physically able to bend, stoop, and move pool equipment.
• Dependable and self-motivated.

Pool Service Technician - Full Time - $18-$27/hour

Description:
Hodge Pool Service is a locally owned, family-run company serving Venice and Nokomis. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a reliable and hardworking Pool Service Technician to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, staying active, and managing their own route. No prior pool experience is required—we provide hands-on training to set you up for success as well as a company truck and supplies. What the Job Looks Like: You’ll manage a consistent service route caring for residential swimming pools in the Venice/Nokomis area. Most days you’ll work independently while keeping pools clean, balanced, and running smoothly for our customers. Typical responsibilities include:

• Brushing pool walls and steps
• Emptying skimmer and pump baskets
• Testing and balancing water chemistry
• Cleaning filters and vacuuming pools as needed
• Providing friendly communication with customers during service visits
• Submitting accurate service reports using a company phone

You’ll typically service around 3 pools per hour on a route of approximately 80 pools, all located locally. Training Program: We provide 4 weeks of one-on-one training so you can learn our process and feel confident on your route. 32–35 hours per week during training $18 per hour Pay Structure Direct deposit paid twice monthly (1st and 15th) After training: $9 per pool serviced Additional pools added to your route as the company grows Opportunity for a pay raise after one year
