Michael Page International Italia S.r.l. cerca un ingegnere software con solido background backend per contribuire al design, sviluppo e evoluzione di una piattaforma cloud-native.

La risorsa lavorerà su microservizi, API REST sicure, CI/CD e infrastruttura, in un ambiente internazionale.

Competenze

• Laurea triennale/magistrale in Informatica, Ingegneria Software o equivalente.
• 3–6 anni di esperienza in software engineering, platform engineering o DevOps.
• Solida pratica di sviluppo software con principi ingegneristici.
• Esperienza con Python.
• Esperienza nella progettazione di microservizi e REST API.
• Buona comprensione dei sistemi distribuiti.
• Esperienza in ambienti Linux.
• Esperienza con Docker e containerizzazione.
• Conoscenza di AWS e architetture cloud-native.
• Esperienza CI/CD e automazione delle deployment.
• Esperienza con SQL e/o NoSQL.
• Conoscenza di fondamenti di rete.
• Conoscenza di monitoring/logging/observability.

Opportunità

The resource will contribute to the design, development, and evolution of a cloud-native service platform supporting large-scale data processing and real-time operational services. The role is ideal for a software engineer with a strong backend background who has progressively expanded into infrastructure, DevOps, cloud architectures, and platform engineering. They will work on the design and operation of distributed systems where reliability, scalability, security, and performance are critical.

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services supporting core business applications
• Contribute to the design and evolution of a scalable microservices architecture
• Build and maintain secure RESTful APIs, API authorization/authentication controls, and service-to-service communication layers (ARCA edit)
• Support the design of distributed systems with a strong focus on reliability, resiliency, and performance
• Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure and deployment environments
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation initiatives
• Manage containerized applications and deployment workflows
• Implement monitoring, logging, and observability solutions
• Support database design, optimization, and operational management
• Collaborate in the definition of secure-by-design architectures, identity and access management (IAM), and user management workflows. (ARCA edit)
• Contribute to incident analysis, troubleshooting, and continuous platform improvement
• Work closely with engineering teams to operationalize new services and technologies.

Competenze ed esperienza

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• 3-6 years of experience in software engineering, platform engineering, backend development, or DevOps roles
• Strong software development background with solid engineering principles
• Professional experience with Python
• Experience designing and supporting microservices architectures
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs
• Good understanding of distributed systems principles
• Experience working in Linux environments
• Experience with Docker and containerized applications
• Knowledge of AWS Cloud services and cloud-native architectures
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
• Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals
• Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and observability practices
• Experience using Git and modern software development workflows.

Nice to Have

• Participation in the design or evolution of a platform architecture from an infrastructure perspective
• Experience with low-latency, high-throughput, or real-time systems
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code approaches
• Exposure to Kubernetes or container orchestration platforms
• Familiarity with message-driven architectures and asynchronous systems
• Experience supporting AI, machine learning, or data-intensive workloads
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles applied to cloud and distributed environments
• Experience operating business-critical services with high availability requirements.
