RINA in Milan seeks an experienced Project Planner with a strong background in EPCC for oil and gas and power projects. You will plan, schedule, and control complex activities using Primavera and related tools to meet contractual requirements.

The role requires over 10 years of relevant experience, fluency in Italian, and the ability to coordinate with site managers, engineers and customers while enforcing QA plans and progress reporting.

Competenze

• University degree in a technical field is required.
• Excellent reading and interpretation of contract terms, with QA focus.
• Ability to read and interpret specifications and perform progress verification.

Mansioni

• Decide on optimal engineering techniques and activity sequences for each project stage.

Education

• University Degree in technical field

Professional Skills And Certifications

• Good knowledge (spoken and written) of foreign languages (preferable English, French or Spanish)

including technical dictionary will be a plus.

• Must be experienced in the use of Primavera Project Planner.
• Must be familiar with planning and scheduling of activities for all aspects of EPCC of major oil / gas plants.
• Must have the ability to read and interpret contract terms, conditions and specifications, knowledge of quality control and assurance functions, methods of progress measurements and verification.

Work Experience - Years Of Experience

• At least more than 10 year experience in the offshore/onshore Oil & Gas or power generation industries

EPC contracts in the field of pressure retaining components, piping, pipelines, valves, rotating equipment, steel structures etc.

Work Experience - Duties And Responsibilities

The Project Planner is responsible for:

• Deciding on the most appropriate engineering techniques and sequences of activities for each project stage.

• Drawing plans using specialised design software packages.
• Ensuring plans meet the Customers specifications.
• Making estimations for timescales and costs.
• Supervising the project at all stages and providing solutions to problems.
• Collaborating with site managers, surveyors, engineers, site worker and other professionals.
• Be accountable for the control and supervision, monitoring and guidance of the day-to-day activities of the Planning team.

• Supervising, delivering a resourced robust baseline project schedules (team size dependent).
• Overseeing the coordination and production of all project plans and associated documents (S curves, Histograms, tabulated man-hour / progress data).

• Providing the Management Team with the relevant contract information.
• Ensuring that all services and deliverables conform to Company, client and Project QA Plan, policies, requirements and standards.

• Promoting good working relations within the Project Controls Teams and other project departments and Customer representatives.

• Ensuring all planning work is carried out in compliance with Corporate and Project specific procedures.
