SEGULA Technologies is looking for a Performance Engineering and Virtual Simulation specialist to join our automotive team in Italy. You will define and execute CO2 and energy consumption performance activities for Heavy CV range using virtual simulations and comparing results with tests.

With >2 years of VECTO experience and strong Simulink/Stateflow/Simscape skills, you will update engine/driveline layouts for MY24/26, contribute to CO2 reduction measures, and collaborate across engineering

Competenze

• Master's Degree in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering or a related discipline
• Good experience (over 2 years) in VECTO tool for CO2 simulations
• Good experience in programming in Simulink/Stateflow/Simscape
• Knowledge in engine, gearbox, axle, and complete driveline layout, definition and specification
• Knowledge in aerodynamics (Air Drag Test), tire technology and ADAS functions
• Driveline/engine fuel economy layout, requirement definition and calculation
• Support of different engineering departments
• Fluent English knowledge

Segula Technologies Is Looking For One Performance Engineering And Virtual Simulation To Join Our Team And Support Key Projects In The Automotive Sector. The Activity Includes

• Definition and planning of CO2 and Energy Consumption performance activities on Heavy CV range, that means virtual simulation, with comparison to tests results
• Execution of the simulations above defined. The simulations shall be conducted with the internal virtual analysis environment, and will deal with Longitudinal Performances and Fuel Economy on customer and/or internal cycles. Only by chance, even simulations with VECTO could be required
• Continuous update of the engine/driveline layout and matrix for S-/X-Way MY24/26, for CO2 monitoring during the project
• Update of impact calculation with potential CO2 reduction measures
• Create and follow the tests plan for performances evaluation with Product Validation and Benchmarking
• Synthesis for the VIRs, to share our work to the Engineering
• Master's Degree in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering or a related discipline
