Segula Technologies is seeking a Performance Engineering and Virtual Simulation specialist to join our automotive team in Italy. The role focuses on CO2 and energy consumption performance activities for Heavy Commercial Vehicles, using virtual simulation and comparison to test results.

You will execute simulations in our internal environment, work on longitudinal performance and fuel economy cycles, and contribute to CO2 monitoring, test plans, and synthesis for VIRs to share with Engineering.

• Definition and planning of CO2 and Energy Consumption performance activities on Heavy CV range, that means virtual simulation, with comparison to tests results
• Execution of the simulations above defined. The simulations shall be conducted with the internal virtual analysis environment, and will deal with Longitudinal Performances and Fuel Economy on customer and/or internal cycles. Only by chance, even simulations with VECTO could be required
• Continuous update of the engine/driveline layout and matrix for S-/X-Way MY24/26, for CO2 monitoring during the project
• Update of impact calculation with potential CO2 reduction measures
• Create and follow the tests plan for performances evaluation with Product Validation and Benchmarking
• Synthesis for the VIRs, to share our work to the Engineering
