Job summary

Valley Pediatric Group is seeking an LPN to join our outpatient pediatric team. You will collect vital signs, administer medications, and ensure supplies are stocked, while providing compassionate care to children and families.

Recent graduates are welcome and training is provided. The role may involve supervising support staff and performing phone triage, with options for multiple locations including Verona and Waynesboro.

Qualifications

• Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
• Ability to demonstrate resilience in emotionally difficult situations.
• Proficient computer skills.
• No Pediatric experience required; will train.

Responsibilities

• Work with Pediatric Patients in an outpatient setting.
• Collect and record vital signs, such as blood pressures
• Ensure that supplies, medications, and equipment are restocked and maintained so that they are ready to use
• Administer medications as ordered and report adverse reactions to medications or treatments
• Communicate openly and effectively with patients and families, while demonstrating compassion and friendly behavior
• Supervise CCMA's and Nursing Assistants
• Phone Triage
